Baptism Thank yous and Brandon's Birthday

Brook's baptism was today early this morning. (8 Am early!) I'm not sure we've quite recovered yet, but it was a great day regardless! But first, today is a special day for another person. Brandon just got a little older than me. :) Happy birthday, baby!

50 Card Workshop (less than $1 per card!)

Did you catch that? A workshop in which you make 50 cards (with envelopes) and pay less than $1 per card. YEP, I'm serious! I've made it happen! We will be making 10 each of the 5 cards you see. Aren't they beautiful? I love this paper pack and the warm, vintage feel of the cards.   (Thanks to Karen Pedersen for putting this together so I can share it with you!)

This workshop will be held at my home in South Jordan, UT on Thursday, July 14th from 630-930 pm. You need to place your order by Thursday, June 30th, 9 pm,

If you are interested in hosting this workshop in your home and earning Hostess Rewards, I am more than happy to do that. I just ask that you have at least 5 people other than yourself participate.

If you would like to purchase the workshop and split it with a friend so you each go home with 25 cards, I'm good with that too!

Anyone who signs up for this workshop that is not one of my current customers will receive a FREE STAMP PAD of their color choice (60 colors to choose from!) from me as a gift!  Current customers, if you refer a friend to me who signs up for the workshop that is not a current customer, YOU GET A FREE STAMP PAD TOO!

Last Day for Studio J at $64.95 and Garrett's Baby Book

I was able to work on Garrett's baby book again last night and have a few pages to show you. Before I do, I wanted to remind you the magic of National Scrapbook Month ends at midnight tonight. So, Cinderella, what that means is if you want in, you gotta do it now. What do you do? Here's the short list:

  • The You & Me kit is only available through tonight.
  • Get it now for $34.95.
  • Get it cheaper for $15 with your $50 order.
  • Get it totally FREE with your HALF PRICE consultant kit for $64.95. (This also includes two choices of booty including paper, ink and stamp bundles, Studio J Membership or Photo Albums as part of your kit!)
  • Go here to DO IT NOW! Lol ( I love Ahnold quotes!)
Ok, now on to the baby! I added some journalling to the page I showed last night. The title is from my Cricut (because I was lazy and didn't want to cut out the stamps, lol!) He was such a big boy when he was born! Hard to believe he is already two and tripled in size.

This page was a lot of fun because I love family history. We picked a meaningful name for all of our kids, but it was fun to tie the whole family into Garrett's name. These pages detail the ancestors from which his names come from, going back 150 years, as well as highlight his grandparents.

I've got several more pages to finish in this and then I'll post some more photos. The 5 for $5 is coming up this  Thursday at 630p. If you'd like to attend, please text, call or email at 801.910.8698 or slvrlinin@live.com.

Warm wishes,

Garrett's Baby Book & Happy Memorial Day Weekend

I hope you are all out enjoying! We have plentiful rain here, so no park for the kids. Hard to stay dry with a wet slide! Hopefully we'll be able to go out in a few days.

I started this awhile ago on the Simply Snapshots 9x9 pages which recently retired. Now that there's another one on the way, I better finish the other three baby books before I'm really behind!

I thought I was so clever, buying enough to finish the book.. However I forgot to buy the album and sheet protectors to go with it!! So to coin my sister, Holly's, favorite phrase, I said, "I can fix this" and proceeded to do just that.

I wasn't quite sure how to adapt these at first. As you know I am not a great fan of white space. I also don't have a lot of time and didn't want to spend more on a "finished" project. Suck it up kid, white space it is! I am really quite pleased with how they turned out, though. Almost minimalist, but with enough pop and color to be fun.

Some pages were just glued straight onto the White Daisy base, but on others I simply removed the photos on the backs and put them on new bases. I didn't spend a lot of time with B&T's - just more of a collage to highlight the pictures, with a few accents and some journaling as needed.

Yet another one of those projects that just needs to get done before the kids think we don't love them because they never got their own scrapbook, lol! If I hadn't had these already printed, I really think I'd have gone with Studio J for this. I really like how easy it is to get caught up and just get your pages DONE! (If you want a membership, they are only $64.95 this month - just ask me how!)

Hope your Memorial Day is memorable and not for the rain *smiles*!

Warm wishes,
