#CTMH2011 Convention Updates

**Updated with some pics!!**
Yesterday from The Stamp Goddess (aka Tressa Black)
The view from her room - she states the rooms are nice! Lol!

Woo hoo! Convention is in full swing today in Anaheim, California and the land of all things MOUSE. Several of our team are there (yes, I am at home..) so we are getting updates via Twitter and Facebook. (You can follow them too on twitter, just look for hashtag #CTMH2011!) The Corporate Facebook page is also updating their Facebook and Twitter accounts. Okay, down to the nitty gritty!
**Updated - @jaymalew posted a pic of @blessedscrapper today in General Session which started at 0900 our time!**

I apologize as none of the pictures I received on Twitter are available today to post. I can tell you I saw a cute D-size set that said had large "Live", "Love", and "Learn" words with some fabulous clouds and rainbow like swirlies. SO C.U.T.E.!! That was part of the Create and Take project. There were some fabulous striped papers in what looked like Holiday Red, Garden Green and Sky with that. Also a Chocolate with a *maybe* Pacific and Blush dot?And on that note...
**Updated - @srwilson66 has a pic!**

  • New paper pack names are: Dreams, Wonderland, Sonoma, Believe, Typeset, Elemental, Mischief and Roxie.
  • Something as big as when they went Acrylic is being announced today! (On pins and needles for that!)
  • Every stamp set in the new Idea Book has a project shown with it (LOVE THIS!)
Yesterday's updates were mostly business as it was Leadership.
  • Free shopping sites for all consultants
  • Free emails and newsletters provided by Corp.
  • Credit Card to be issued. (I believe this is a debit card to help facilitate your direct deposit, that you can then use as a credit card for your business. Great way to budget!)
Tressa's doodling during Christine's awesome business class! What talent!
Tressa's Extravaganza Apron - a gift for teaching class at convention. Super cute and very Minnie!!

I'll update more as they come. Be sure to follow me on Twitter @TrishaMorton and "Like" my Facebook page to see updates as they come! (Check the right side of my blog and click on the links!)

Warm wishes,

Studio J Fun

This is one of the first few layouts I tried my mad skillz at. I kept the papers the same and also the suggested embellishments in the kit. I added a ton of my stickease in the flowers and the blocks on the right layout. I rally had fun with the bees and their stitched "flight trails"... maybe a little too fun.. Oh, well!

This layout just makes me laugh! Every time I would see my son, Aidan, in the Glider, he reminded me of the old Memorex commercials and the one MTV copied a little later. The only non copy-written picture I could find was really small, so it is completely out of focus in the large photo well here, but I actually left it this way because I liked the surreal effect it gave the photo - just like a memory or the distorted filmmaking techniques used on purpose in today's world. Yes, I got the nasty warning triangle, and yes, I approved the layout to print anyway. And I got a letter in my order stating I had approved a layout with low resolution. Lol! Studio J makes suggestions for you, but you are still open to use your own creativity just how you want it!

By the way, you can make the first layout in about 30 minutes and the second in 15 minutes. If you'd like to see how, call me to schedule a 30 minute consultation. We'll walk through it together with your own photos and then if you like it, you can print it professionally with just the click of a button! Invite some friends over and any memberships purchased will go towards Hostess Rewards for you, just like a traditional Home Gathering! Call me today at 801.910.8698 or email!

Warm wishes,
